One of the favorite parts of the work I do with Dan’s Depot is the opportunity to test out gear and give it away. I particularly like to do that when we can help out someone family run businesses of made in the USA products
That is the case here today. Clinton Armstrong from Deer Creek Wilderness Outfitters sent me an American Trade Knife and one of their fine oilskin tarps for review. It was great timing too. Just as I received it I had about 4 hands on weekend classes I was teaching. I like this aspect of gear review because I get to put these items in the hands of dozens of people. This provides me the opportunity to share what lots of people think about an item, rather than just my own.
This American trade knife held up very well to all that we threw at it. In the video below I give you a review of the specs on this blade as well as a display of how it worked for us.
Here is the best part. You can own your own knife by heading over and buying one yourself at Deer Creek Forge or you can join in the running to get the knife you see in the video for FREE. We will be passing it on to one fortunate winner.
To get the in running all you need to do is this:
We will pick one of the folks that subscribe and comment to receive this knife. So please jump in on that…this is a great knife!
Come on, join in, let’s learn together!
