I am concerned that with these Wednesday tips that are centered around urban related preparedness are encouraging fear mongering. I do not intend that at all. However since certain things like carjackings and active shooters are possibilities…I have enjoyed putting some of this info out there. As always pay attention to the statistics in your area so you know what illegal activities are common and in what areas. In that manner you can avoid such situations when possible.
However, I do not feel that we should walk and or drive around in fear. Chance favors the prepared mind, correct? Today we are going to take a look at some really basic and simple things you can do when driving and parking your car.
As I say in the video, these shots are taken in my small hometown in Kentucky. I believe however that you can easily adjust what I am saying to where you live. I suppose I want to make it clear that I know roads, intersections and parking lots look a lot different in Chicago, New York, etc. If you have anything to share about the area you live in that would prove helpful, then please do so in the comments section below the video.
Come on, join in, let’s learn together!
